The Oaksbrook is a classical approach to the contemporary home. It is an example of quality workmanship which built to inspire people who are looking for something extra special and to surround themselves with timeless elegance and luxury.

Drawing on design elements from a modern bungalow, the home has a striking corner street presence with stand-out features such as grey sandstone façade to the front and wrapping around the side, a return verandah with beautifully detailed exposed timber batten eves, and an impressively solid American oak double door stained black. Sharp white window frames and large 190mm x 190mm custom made Merbau timber laminate posts with custom bracket post shoes, offset against a warm smoky three coat render system for ensured sustainability providing a grandiose sense of a Hampton’s style home. The flat shingle style concrete tiles used on a pitched roof create sharp lines across the roof line and an understated, minimalist finish.

Internally the Oaksbrook feels warm, yet expansive. A grand view unfolds as you step inside with impressive 3.2 metre high ceilings and a large open living room with inset Neolith stone surround fireplace bordered with grand pillars. With 2.7m high timber framed windows looking out to a central north facing courtyard which allows natural light and warmth to flood the lower level, and full width recessed bi-fold doors to the rear ensure a seamless flow from indoors to out. Tiled floors throughout downstairs, with a layout centred around the Victorian Ash staircase and kitchen, the flow of the home is ideal for growing families or empty nesters who love entertaining.

With stringent time frames to adhere to in order to commit to marketing plans and official opening times, a high level of documentation and project management was essential to ensure this home was built within the specified time frame. These time frames were all met.
